Drug Therapy is an integral and often intricate part of a patient’s treatment. Qualified pharmacists review and dispense each patient’s drug regimen using the most up to date procedures and techniques

The Pharmacy Department of Abbeville General Hospital provides a variety of distributive and clinical services 365 days a year. A pharmacist is available, on call, when the Pharmacy is closed.

Hours of service are:

• Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Saturday – Sunday 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Holidays 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Services provided include, but are not limited to:

• Pharmacist patient profile monitoring
• System-wide unit-dose drug distribution
• Centralized IV admixture service
• Drug information

The Pharmacy Department is staffed with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, and is located on the 1 st Floor near the hospital cafeteria .
