Operating Room

The OR Unit of Abbeville General Hospital includes three operating rooms, a post anesthesia care unit, a minor procedure room, and holding room, and offers a wide range of services. The Endoscopy procedure room is located within the OR Suite and staffed by the OR Unit.

Our staff of experienced physicians provides a variety of surgical services including, but not limited to:

• General Surgery
• Obstetric
• Gynecologic
• Vascular
• Urology
• ENT
• Orthopedics
• Laparoscopic
• Endoscopy

The Operating Room is located on the 1 st Floor adjacent to OB and Recovery Room and Central Sterilization.

The OR unit is staffed with anesthesiologists, full-time certified registered nurse anesthetists as well as highly skilled registered and licensed practical nurses, certified surgical technologists, and certified nursing assistant, and offers services Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Emergency, weekend and holiday coverage is on an on-call basis by a qualified OR Team.
