Food & Nutrition Services
The Food and Nutrition Services department serves you balanced, nutritious and appetizing meals according to your diet prescribed by your physician. Meals are served in a safe, sanitary, and continuously improving environment. A selective menu is offered each day.
The hours of food service are from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM , 7 days a week. A Registered Dietitian is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to provide clinical nutrition services.
The services provided include, but are not limited to:
- Outpatient and Inpatient medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
- Review nutrition screens of patients for necessary nutrition intervention.
- Develop Nutrition Care Plans for necessary patients.
- Monitor NPO status.
- Interact with other members of the health care team and participate in case management conferences.
- Follow up on effectiveness of Nutrition Care plan by writing progress notes.
- Provide all services necessary for patient meal service including therapeutic diet therapy.
Our hospital cafeteria which is located on the 1st floor south of the main lobby offers good, home-style meals and is open to both visitors and staff during these hours:
