Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology
The Diagnostic Imaging Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and provides a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic studies/procedures on patients of all ages (pediatric, infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) under the direction of Radiologists. All procedures are performed according to the guidelines set forth by the American College of Radiology and the standards of practice set forth by the department medical advisor.
All routine examinations are performed in the Imaging Department. Patients who are unable to be transported are imaged at their bedside when possible. Invasive procedures (Thoracentesis, Biopsies, etc.) are performed in the Imaging Department or at the bedside.

The Diagnostic Imaging Department is located on the first floor adjacent to the Emergency Room, and
is staffed with Radiologists, Registered and Certified Radiology Technologists, Ultrasonographer, Tech Assistants, and Clerical personnel.
